Class 8 Student Killed as Truck Falls Off Bridge Over Him in Dhenkanal Dist

Dhenkanal: A 13-year-old boy studying in class VIII died when a sand-loaded truck skidded off a bridge and fell on him near Santhapur village under Gondia police station limits in the Dhenkanal district of Odisha on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Subhakanta Behera who was bathing in the canal under the bridge when the truck fell off the bridge.

The driver of the truck was also injured in the accident.

Receiving information, personnel of the Fire Services and police rushed to the spot to rescue the victims.
