CWC Meeting on Oct 9, Will Discuss Strategy for Coming Assembly & Lok Sabha Polls

New Delhi: Congress Working Committee (CWC), the top decision-making body of the Congress party will hold its meeting in Delhi on October 9.

The party bigwigs are expected to discuss the current political situation, caste census and the strategy for the upcoming assembly elections in five states, during this meeting.

The CWC has 39 regular members, 32 permanent invitees and 13 special invitees, including 15 women and several new faces.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge had on August 20 reconstituted the CWC. This will be the first meeting of the reconstituted CWC in Delhi. The first meeting of the reconstituted CWC was held in Hyderabad on September 16.

Chief Ministers of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh will also attend the meeting.

This CWC meeting is expected to be held at the AICC headquarters in Delhi.
