New Delhi: Defying the heightened security in Delhi for the G20 Summit, a case of drone flying was reported in the Patel Nagar area of central Delhi on Friday.
After receiving information about this security breach, the police registered an FIR and initiated an investigation. It was found that the drone was flown during a birthday party celebrated in the Patel Nagar area to take aerial photographs and videos.
Delhi police registered a case under IPC 188 for disobedience to orders duly circulated by public servants.
It may be noted that ahead of the G20 summit, the Delhi police announced a no-fly zone in the city. So, flying of drone invites legal action. This restriction will continue until the end of the G20 Summit.
