Dr Mohanty Masturbates Before 14-Yr-Old in Flight, Arrested in US by FBI

An Indian-American Dr. Sudipta Mohanty (33) was arrested for allegedly masturbating before a 14-year-old girl on a Honolulu-Boston flight last year, reported Hindustan Times.

FBI’s official Boston account tweeted about his arrest. After being rounded up he has been released following an initial appearance in federal court in Boston.

An affidavit filed in the case in a Boston federal court on Thursday states, Dr. Sudipta Mohanty, aged 33 and residing in Cambridge, Massachusetts, engaged in inappropriate behaviour aboard a Hawaiian Airlines flight on May 27, 2022. The incident reportedly happened during a flight from Honolulu to Boston. He allegedly exposed himself and engaged in inappropriate conduct in the presence of a young girl.

If proven guilty, Dr Mohanty will be sentenced to 90 days in jail followed by a year of supervised release and a fine of up to USD 5,000.
