Elephant Tusk Seized In Rayagada District, 2 Persons Nabbed

Rayagada: Two illegally kept elephant tusks were seized by the forest department officials in the Kalyansinghpur forest range in Odisha’s Rayagada district. Two persons were taken into custody in connection with the seizure.

According to forest department sources, the two detained persons were identified as Surendra Nahak and Shankar Kandagari.

Following the seizure of elephant tusks, the forest officials have initiated an investigation and are also interrogating the duo.
