Earthquake Tremors of 5.6 Magnitude Shake up Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: Strong earthquake tremors of 5.6 magnitude were felt in Delhi-National Capital Region and adjoining areas on Monday afternoon.

“Earthquake of Magnitude:, Occurred on 06-11-2023, 16:16:40 IST, Lat: 28.89 & Long: 82.36, Depth: 10 Km ,Region: Nepal”, the National Centre for Seismology posted on X.

The epicentre of this quake was located 233 kilometres north of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.

This recent quake triggered panic among residents of the national capital and its adjoining areas.

A few days back Delhi had experienced earthquake tremors when a 6.4 magnitude quake in Nepal, killed over 150 people and injured 160 others.
