EC Orders Immediate Transfer of 2 Collectors, 5 SPs & 1 IGP in Odisha

New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Tuesday ordered the immediate transfer of some IAS and IPS officers posted in parts of Odisha ahead of the 2024 elections.

In a letter to Odisha Chief Secretary, ECI Secretary Rakesh Kumar directed for the immediate transfer of these IAS and IPS officials.

The officials to be transferred as per the order of the Election Commission are:

DM and DEO Cuttack Vineet Bharadwaj

DM and DEO Jagatsinghpur Parul Patwari

IPS Ashish Kumar Singh (IG Central)

Sundargarh SP Kanwar Vishal Singh

Khordha SP Jugal Kishore Banoth

Rourkela SP Mitrabhanu Mohapatra

Berhampur SP S. Vivek Kumar

Angul SP Sudhanshu Sekhar Mishra

Earlier on March 21, the Election Commission issued transfer orders for the Collector of Dhenkanal and SPs of Deogarh and Cuttack Rural.
