The visitors have made two changes, bringing in pace bowler Ollie Robinson and off-spinner Shoaib Bashir, replacing Mark Wood and leg-spinner Rehan Ahmed.

Robinson, who missed the first three Tests, earns a recall after impressing with his work ethic despite not featuring. Captain Ben Stokes lauded his dedication, saying, “He has worked incredibly hard while he has been out here.”

Jonny Bairstow, despite recent form concerns, retains his place, with both Stokes and head coach Brendon McCullum expressing confidence in him.

Despite whispers of potential rest, James Anderson keeps his place, providing England with his experience and swing bowling expertise.

Bashir, who missed the Rajkot Test, returns in place of Ahmed, who struggled in the previous match. England will be hoping Bashir can provide more control and spin options against the Indian batsmen.
