‘Fighter’ Banned in All Gulf Countries Except UAE

Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Fighter’ is reported to be banned in all the Gulf countries except UAE. According to posts of producer-film expert Girish Johar and trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai on X, ‘Fighter’ will not be released in all Gulf countries. However, as of now, the UAE is an exception. The reason for the ban on the release of ‘Fighter’ in Gulf Countries is not known.

They confirmed that ‘Fighter’ has been ‘officially’ banned in all Gulf countries except the UAE. Johar informed that ‘Fighter’ will release in the UAE with PG 15 classification.

The makers of ‘Fighter’ have not made any comment regarding this ban. In the recent past, Mammootty’s Kaathal – The Core’, Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Beast’, ‘Sita Ramam’, Tamil film ‘FIR’ and Mohanlal’s ‘Monster’ were banned in the Gulf Countries. Gulf Countries ban release of films over the portrayal of Islamists as extremists, LGBTQ content and on religious grounds.

‘Fighter’ is an aerial action film directed by Siddharth Anand with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor in lead roles.

This Rs 250 crore worth film will release in theatres on January 25.
