Anil Kapoor to Act as RAW Chief in YRF Spy Universe Movie

Mumbai: Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is reported to be joining the world of espionage in an upcoming Yash Raj Films project starring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh.

After his stellar performances in ‘Animal’ and ‘Fighter’, Anil is rumoured to play the role of the RAW Chief in the YRF Spy Universe movie. This role previously enacted by the late Girish Karnad in the ‘Tiger’ franchise.

According to sources, Anil Kapoor’s entry in the role of the RAW chief hints at potential cameo appearances in other upcoming YRF Spy Universe projects, including the much-anticipated ‘War II’ directed by Ayan Mukerji.

‘War 2’ will feature Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, Ashutosh Rana, known for his role as Colonel Luthra in ‘War’ and ‘Pathaan’.

‘War 2’ is slated for release on Independence Day 2025. With Kapoor’s addition to the cast, fans can expect an exhilarating cinematic journey expanding boundaries of spy thrillers in Indian cinema.
