Mumbai: Sunny Deol and Manish Wadhwa’s action-packed sequel, Gadar 2, has become the third highest-grossing Hindi film in India, surpassing the Hindi version of KGF Chapter 2.
The film has grossed a staggering Rs 438.70 crore net in India so far. It is now only behind Pathaan (Rs 543 crore) and Baahubali 2 (Hindi) (Rs 510 crore) in the list of highest-grossing Hindi films in India.

Gadar 2 is expected to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in India soon. It is also a strong contender to challenge Baahubali 2 (Hindi) for the second position.
The film stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma in the lead roles. It is a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.
Gadar 2 has been directed by Anil Sharma. It is produced by Zee Studios and Balaji Telefilms.
The film’s success is a testament to the popularity of the Gadar franchise. It is also a sign of the growing popularity of patriotic films in India.
