Headmaster Found Hanging on School Premises in Angul District

Angul: The Headmaster of a primary school was found hanging within the school premises in Kishore Nagar block of Odisha’s Angul district, today.

The deceased, identified as Hrushikesh Sahu, was posted as headmaster of Turuda Primary School under the Dhadarapala panchayat. On Friday morning, villagers found him hanging from a ceiling fan in the school.

He was rushed to the Kishore Nagar Community Health Centre (CHC), where he was declared dead.

Police have seized the body for post-mortem and have started an investigation into the incident.

Although the reason behind this suicide has not been ascertained, it is suspected that he may have taken the drastic decision because of some family tussle.
