Hollywood Actor Christian Oliver Dies in Plane Crash Along with 2 Daughters

Hollywood actor Christian Oliver was killed along with his two young daughters when a small plane in which they were travelling crashed into the Caribbean Sea after takeoff on Thursday.

German-born Oliver is remembered for “The Good German”, in which he appeared with George Clooney and in  action-comedy “Speed Racer”.

The ill-fated single-engine aircraft was privately owned. Local fishermen, divers and coast guard recovered four bodies from the crashed plane.

The deceased included Oliver (51), his daughters Madita (10), and Annik (12), and pilot Robert Sachs. Oliver was on a vacation with family. The plane was travelling from Bequia, a small island in the Grenadines, to St Lucia.

Oliver has acted in over 60 movies and TV series.
