Illegal Migrant Killed, Skinned, Chopped Bangladesh MP, Arrested from Mumbai

Kolkata: The Bangladesh MP, Anwarul Azim Anar was allegedly murdered in Kolkata, was skinned, chopped up in an apartment and disposed of in several plastic packets across the city. Jihad Hawladar, an illegal immigrant from Bangladesh, who lived in Mumbai, was behind this gruesome act.

West Bengal CID arrested Jihad, who is reported to have confessed to his involvement in the murder and chopping of the Bangladesh MP’s body in an apartment in New Town area of Kolkata.

The Bangladesh MP, Anwarul Azim Anar, who arrived in Kolkata on May 12 had been missing since May 13.

Arrested Hawladar has reportedly disclosed that the mastermind behind this gruesome murder was Akhtaruzzaman, a US citizen of Bangladeshi origin. As per Akhtaruzzaman’s instructions, Hawladar, and four other Bangladeshi nationals, killed the Anar in the New Town apartment.

On Wednesday, Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said Anwarul Azim Anar had been found murdered and three people had been arrested,

Evidences indicate that the MP was first strangled and then his body was cut up into several pieces.

Hawladar allegedly told during interrogation that after killing Anar, they skinned the body, removed all the flesh, and minced it to obliterate any possibility of identification. The bones were cut into small pieces. The remains were then packed into plastic bags, which were disposed of across Kolkata.
