Sriharikota: The third orbit-raising maneuver (Earth-bound perigee firing) of the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was conducted successfully by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Tuesday.
The next firing for orbit-raising maneuver is scheduled for July 20 between 2 pm and 3 pm, informed ISRO. “The third orbit-raising maneuver (Earth-bound perigee firing) is performed successfully from ISTRAC (ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network)/ISRO, Bengaluru,” the ISRO statement said.
The successful execution of the second orbit-raising maneuver for the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft was done on Monday.
The Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon was launched on July 14.
