Joint Rallies by Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav in Raebareli, Amethi on May 17

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav will hold joint rallies in Raebareli and Amethi on May 17, reported The Statesman. Voting for both these seats will be held on May 20.

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi is campaigning in both these Lok Sabha constituencies since May 6.

Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Raebareli. Kishori Lal Sharma, a close aide of the Gandhi family is the Congress candidate in Amethi.

In the 2019 elections, BJP’s Smriti Irani defeated Rahul Gandhi by about 55,000 votes in Amethi.

In the last general elections, Sonia Gandhi had won in Raebareli. BJP has repeated Dinesh Pratap Singh as its candidate for Raebareli seat again.
