Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah Meets PM Modi in Delhi

New Delhi: Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliament building in New Delhi on Thursday and held discussions.

It was the first meeting of the Karnataka CM with the PM after Congress grabbed power in the state in the Assembly polls held in May.

Siddaramaiah also met Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, informed a release from Karnataka CMO.

Chief Minister’s political secretary K Govindaraj and the state’s special representative in Delhi T B Jayachandra accompanied him at these meetings.

Siddaramaiah also met Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge and held discussions.

On Wednesday, he participated in a meeting of state Congress leaders and Ministers with the central party leadership to discuss the plans of the Congress for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
