Kerala Police Arrests Woman Beating Elderly Mother-in-Law after Video Becomes Viral

Thiruvananthapuram: Police arrested a woman in Kerala’s Kollam when a video showing her beating up an aged woman became viral on social media. The victim was the mother-in-law of the arrested woman.

The video clip showed the elderly woman falling to the ground after being pushed by the accused woman. Taking cognisance of the video, the Kerala Police arrested the accused woman.

“Old woman beaten up in Kollam. Accused arrested,” the Kerala Police posted on X in Malayalam.

The video also showed children standing nearby, looking at the old woman being hit.
