UP Woman Wants Divorce Alleging Mother-In-Law Uses Her Makeup Without Permission!

Agra: A woman of Malpura in the Agra district of Uttar Pradesh has filed for divorce from her husband alleging that her mother-in-law is using up her makeup kit without permission.

The woman also alleged that her husband threw her and her sister out of the house when she protested against her mother-in-law using her makeup without her permission.

The woman and her sister married two brothers eight months back. However, the marital bond of the woman was shattered within months when she discovered that her mother-in-law was using her makeup without her permission.

She alleged that she was unable to put on proper makeup while she had to go to an event as her mother-in-law used it up. The woman complained before the Family Counselling Centre of the Agra police that her mother-in-law always dressed up and wore makeup inside the house. She has also approached the Malpura police station regarding the matter.

She had an altercation with her mother-in-law after she forbade her from wearing makeup while in the house. According to the woman, her husband abused her when her mother-in-law told the son about the incident.

According to her, the situation aggravated and the woman and her sister were thrown out of the house. They have been living at their maternal home for the past two months.

On Sunday, the woman and her mother-in-law were called to the Family Counselling Centre of the Agra police and given counselling.

Gaur added that the woman was adamant about seeking divorce as, according to her, the matter was no longer limited to the use of her cosmetics without her permission.

For two months, the sisters have been living at their maternal home.
