LJP Leader Shot Dead in Bihar’s Gaya

Patna: A Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) leader, Anwar Khan, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in broad daylight in Bihar’s Gaya on Wednesday. Anwar Khan was the state president of the LJP’s labour cell.

According to sources, three persons were involved in this killing. The assailants came on a bike to fire at Anwar Khan, while he was at a salon. The LJP leader died on the spot.

Following the incident, enraged locals and family members of Khan blocked National Highway 82 to stage a protest.

An investigation is underway to nab the killers.
