Man And His Mother Electrocuted in Koraput District

Koraput: A man and his mother were electrocuted to death at Jayantgiri village under Borriguma block in Koraput district on Friday.

The deceased were identified as Duryodhan Amanyata and his mother Rama.

According to reports, Duryodhan was electrocuted while trying to take his towel hanging from a wire at his home. His mother was also electrocuted while trying to save him.

Duryodhan’s wife and mother-in-law also received severe electric shock in their attempt to save the duo, but they have they survived.

Duryodhan and Rama were rushed to the Koraput District Headquarters Hospital, where the doctor declared them dead. Local police have started an investigation into the incident.
