Man Commits Suicide at Residence of BJP MLA in UP

Lucknow: A 24-year-old man ended his life at the official residence of Yogesh Shukla, BJP MLA from Lucknow’s Bakshi Ka Talab on Monday morning. The deceased Shreshtha Tiwari used to work in the media cell of the MLA.

According to police sources, the youth committed suicide during a video call with his girlfriend.

No suicide note was recovered near the body.

Tiwari had called his girlfriend and told her that he was going to die by suicide. This girl informed the police. Police have seized the girl’s smartphone for investigation.

Tiwari was alone in the MLA’s residence on Sunday night. When his girlfriend came to know that he was attempting suicide, she informed police and rushed to the spot.

The door was locked from inside. When police arrived and broke it open, he was found dead inside.
