Man Kills Live-In Partner With Pressure Cooker in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A 24-year-old man named Vaishnav from Kerala was arrested by Bengaluru police for allegedly beating his live-in partner to death with a pressure cooker. The accused suspected that his live-in partner Deva was cheating on him.

Deva from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, was staying with Vaishnav, from Kerala’s Kollam, at a rented apartment for the past two years.

According to police sources, both were classmates in college and were employed in the sales and marketing sector in Bengaluru.

According to neighbours, both were having frequent quarrels and heated arguments. But none of them had filed any complaint with police.

It is suspected that Vaishnav always suspected that Deva was not loyal to him and they always fought over this allegation.

On Sunday, they again had an altercation over the same matter. In a rage, Vaishanav poured out the cooked rice in the pressure cooker and hit Deva’s head with it. The woman died on the spot.

After committing the murder Vaishanav fled, but police managed to nab him.
