Woman’s Body Found in Almirah in Delhi, Search On for Live-In Partner

New Delhi: The decomposing body of a 26-year-old woman was found stuffed in an almirah at a house in southwest Delhi’s Dwarka area. Family of the deceased woman suspected that her live-in partner was involved in the murder.

The murder came to the fore when the father of the victim registered a complaint with the police on Wednesday stating that he was unable to contact her for a few days.

Police recovered the body of the woman from the almirah of a flat. The deceased’s father alleged that she was killed by her live-in partner Vipal Tailor.

He also added that Vipal Tailor used to beat up her daughter up and in the past she had expressed that she was afraid she could be murdered.

The deceased and her live-in partner were living in a rented flat for the past one and a half months.

Vipal Tailor has absconded. Efforts are underway to locate the accused, Vipal Tailor, who is a native of Surat in Gujarat.

Based on the statement of the complainant, a case under Section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) has been registered against the accused.
