Live-In Partner Rapes Woman’s 14-Yr-Old Daughter in Delhi

New Delhi: A man named Ankit Yadav was arrested by Delhi police for allegedly raping the 14-year-old daughter of his 29-year-old live-in partner.

According to police sources, the crime was committed on July 23, 2023. The accused is a bus driver, who has been living with the victim’s mother for the past eight years. The woman had a son from this live-in relationship.

According to police sources, on July 23, 2023, when Ankit Yadav was alone with the kids, he allegedly raped the girl for the first time. He also raped her several times after that by threatening the victim.

Later coming to know about it, the woman reported the matter to the police, following which legal action was initiated.

The accused was booked under sections 376 (rape), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
