Visitors Named ‘Ram’ to Get 50% Discount on Tickets of Gorakhpur Zoo

Lucknow: To mark the consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram temple on January 22, Gorakhpur Zoo has declared to give a 50 per cent discount on their tickets to the people named ‘Ram’ on the eve of the ceremony.

To avail of this discount, visitors will have to show identification papers to prove that they are named ‘Ram’. According to the authorities of the Shaheed Ashfaq Ulla Khan Prani Udyan in Gorakhpur, this special discount will be available only for a day on January 21.

The zoo is closed on Mondays. But the Gorakhpur Zoo authorities have also decided to have a live telecast of the consecration ceremony at its entrance for the general public on the day.
