India Declares Its Stance Over Iran’s Attack on Terrorist Base in Pakistan

India has come up with its reaction following Iran’s aerial attack on the Jaish al-Adl group’s headquarters in Pakistan with “missile and drone”.

“This is a matter between Iran and Pakistan. Insofar as India is concerned, we have an uncompromising position of zero tolerance towards terrorism. We understand actions that countries take in their self-defense,” the Ministry of External Affairs said in an official statement.

Pakistan too has conducted strikes inside Iran. Interestingly, Pakistan’s caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar met Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, just before Iran fired missiles at Balochistan.

Pakistan on Wednesday warned Iran of “serious consequences” after Tehran launched unprecedented missile and drone strikes on terrorist bases of a Sunni militant group in the restive Balochistan province, which killed two children and injured three others.
