Kerala’s 15-Yr-Old Tries to Kill Father With Hammer for Scolding Him

Thiruvananthapuram: A 15-year-old boy allegedly tried to murder his father, when he scolded the youngster. Later the teenager also tried to end his own life.

This incident occurred in Pothencode of Thiruvananthapuram district on Saturday.

The boy allegedly attacked his father after he scolded him. According to police sources, the boy hit his father’s head several times with a hammer.

But the father managed to run out of the house to save his life. The erring boy later attempted to hang himself inside the room. But the locals and police, who had rushed to the spot to save the father managed to rescue the boy before he could end his life.

Both the injured father and son are admitted to the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital for treatment.
