Raksha Bandhan Horror: 14-Year-Old Stabs 13-Year-Old Cousin Sister to Death in Odisha

Berhampur: A shocking incident has emerged from Odisha’s Berhampur, where a 14-year-old boy allegedly stabbed his 13-year-old cousin sister to death. The tragic event occurred in the seventh lane under the Bada Bazaar police jurisdiction.

The victim, identified as Prajukta Panigrahi, was attending a death anniversary ceremony at a relative’s home with her family when the attack happened. Asutosh Panigrahi, her cousin, suddenly attacked both Prajukta and their cousin brother, Ayushman, with a knife. The motive behind the attack remains unclear.

Prajukta succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while Ayushman was critically injured and was rushed to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar for treatment.

Following the crime, Asutosh fled the scene. Police have since reached the location and initiated an investigation into the incident.
