Miscreants Loot 2 ATMs in Soro of Balasore District

Balasore: Unidentified miscreants looted lakhs of rupees in two ATMs in Balasore district of Odisha on Wednesday night. An ATM of Punjab National Bank and another of Axis Bank at Marsalpur and Khaira Turigodia Bazar under Soro police station limits in Odisha’s Balasore district.

In both cases, the miscreants used gas cutters to open up the ATM machines to take away the cash.

According to reports, six miscreants were involved in the loot of from the Axis Bank ATM in Khaira Togadia Bazar. They allegedly blasted two cride bombs before escaping.

The money stolen from the ATMs is yet to be ascertained. On being informed, Soro police reached the spots and launched an investigation into the ATM loots.
