Model Found Dead in Surat, IPL Cricketer to be Questioned

New Delhi: Indian Premier League (IPL) cricketer Abhishek Sharma is expected to be interrogated by the police officials investigating the tragic death of 28-year-old model Tanya Singh in Gujarat. The model was found hanging in her Surat residence.

Two days after the incident, the investigators have not found any major lead in the suspected suicide case. No suicide note was found near her body.

Preliminary findings hint at a friendship between Tanya Singh and the Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder, Abhishek Sharma. The police discovered a WhatsApp message sent by the deceased model to the IPL player Sharma, which was not answered.

The police have not yet contacted Abhishek Sharma but plan to send him a notice for further clarification.

According to an Indian Express report, Abhishek Sharma had blocked her phone number and was not responding to her messages on social media.

Tanya Singh’s body was discovered on Monday morning when he went to wake her up. This 28-year-old model and fashion designer lived with her parents in Surat and was popular on social media.

Investigating police officials are examining the Call Detail Record (CDR) and IP Detail Record (IPDR) data from Tanya Singh’s phone.
