Mohan Yadav To Be Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: After days of speculation and anticipation, Mohan Yadav has been named the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. The announcement came following a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislative party meeting on Monday.

The decision culminated from extensive discussions within the party leadership, both in New Delhi and Bhopal. This follows the BJP’s decisive victory in the recent Madhya Pradesh assembly elections, where they secured a commanding 163 seats, defying anti-incumbency challenges.

The selection process involved several prominent figures, including the incumbent Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Prahlad Patel, Jyotiraditya Scindia, VD Sharma, and Kailash Vijayvargiya.

The announcement of Yadav as Chief Minister comes just a day after Vishnu Deo Sai was picked to lead the neighbouring state of Chhattisgarh.
