Murder Accused Shot Dead in Court Complex in Bihar’s Patna

Patna: Two armed men shot dead an undertrial prisoner in the Danapur court complex in Patna of Bihar on Friday. Police managed to arrest both accused.

The deceased was identified as Abhishek Kumar alias Chhote Sarkar. He had several criminal cases pending against him including murder charges.

He was brought from the Beur jail for a court hearing and was being taken to the Danapur court on Friday. All of a sudden two men started indiscriminate firing at Abhishek, and the prisoner died on the spot.
