Myanmar: Aung San Suu Kyi Pardoned by Military Junta, Report

Nobel Prize winner and leader of Myanmar, Aung San Suu Kyi is reportedly pardoned by the military rulers of the country.

She was in detention since 2021 when she was ousted from power in a military coup.

As per reports, she has been pardoned in a junta amnesty. Along with her, more than 7000 other prisoners have also been pardoned.

“Chairman of State Administration Council pardons Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, who was sentenced by the relevant courts,” said a Myanmar broadcast.
