Nitin Desai Left Audio Messages Before Death Naming People He was Upset With

Noted Bollywood art director Nitin Chandrakant Desai, who was found hanging in his Karjat studio near Mumbai on Wednesday, left behind 11 audio messages in an audio recorder now seized by police.

As per reports, in these messages, Nitin Desai has named some people who had caused him severe mental stress. The audio recorder has been sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for examination.

Nitin Desai was in mental woes as he was struggling to repay a loan of Rs 180 crore which had increased to Rs 252 crore.

The police are investigating whether the loan burden was a factor in the art director’s death. As per the autopsy report, his death was caused by hanging.

Nitin Desai is remembered for his lavish sets for blockbuster films like “Jodhaa Akbar”, Devdas and “Lagaan” and the popular TV quiz show “Kaun Banega Crorepati”.
