Now Indian Medical Graduates Can Practice in All Countries of the World

New Delhi: The National Medical Commission, the apex medical education regulatory body, has received the coveted World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) recognition status for a period of 10 years.

This means all 706 existing medical colleges in India are now WFME accredited. The new medical colleges to be set up in India in coming 10 years will automatically become WFME accredited.

The WFME is a global organisation dedicated to enhancing the quality of medical education worldwide.

This accreditation empowers Indian medical students to medical practice anywhere in the world. It will also make India an attractive destination for international students for medical education.
