Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik Files Nomination for Hinjli Assembly Seat

Berhampur: Odisha Chief Minister and the BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik filed nomination papers for the Hinjili Assembly seat in Chatrapur of Ganjam district on Tuesday.

He has won from the Hinjli assembly segment five times in the past. He is contesting from Hinjli for the sixth time.

Before filing nominations, he reached the Tara Tarini hill shrine in the Ganjam district to offer his prayers. He was accompanied by bureaucrat-turned-BJD leader VK Pandian.

After filing his nomination papers, the BJD chief will reach Chikiti in Ganjam district to address a public meeting. He will continue his campaign trail in the Ganjam district on Wednesday.

He will campaign for the BJD candidates in Khallikote, Kabisuryanagar, Digapahandi and Chhatrapur assembly segments on Wednesday (May 1).  On May 3, he will again attend political rallies in Bhanjnagar, Polsara, Sankhemundi and Surada. On May 6, he is scheduled to address public meetings in Gopalpur and Aska.
