Odisha Extends Deadline for BSKY Nabin Card Applications Till Feb 8

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has once again extended the application deadline for the Biju Swasthya Kalyan Yojana (BSKY) Nabin card scheme, aiming to ensure wider access to quality healthcare for deserving rural residents. The new deadline for registration is February 8th, 2024.

This decision was taken by the state government to ensure that no deserving rural individual is left behind in accessing quality healthcare, as stated by the Health and Family Welfare Department Secretary, Shalini Pandit. Pandit issued instructions this afternoon, emphasizing the importance of reaching every eligible person in the rural areas.

The initial registration period for the BSKY Nabin card began on January 6 and was originally slated to conclude on January 16. However, in response to the evolving situation, the state government had previously extended the deadline to January 26.

To further facilitate the application process and raise awareness, Secretary Shalini Pandit has directed officials to intensify awareness programs at the village and panchayat levels.
