Opposition INDIA Bloc Discusses Strategy for 2024 Polls in Mumbai

Mumbai: Top leaders of the Opposition bloc INDIA on Friday initiated crucial discussions to materialize their plans about seat- sharing and a common agenda to have a united fight against the BJP-led NDA in the 2024 general election.

The Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) is also expected to unveil its logo on Friday.

According to sources, during the third round of the INDIA bloc meeting, the opposition leaders are likely to come out with a joint statement.

They are also expected to announce the coordination panel as well as some sub-panels with an aim to give definite shape to their election strategy.

The leaders, who have gathered up in Mumbai are working hard to come up with a coordination committee and form subgroups to work on their common agenda, media strategy, joint actions and programmes.

They had an informal discussion over dinner on Thursday night. According to sources, during this meeting, most leaders stressed the urgency to finalize seat sharing and declaration of a joint agenda.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge has asked leaders of various parties to give one name from their respective parties for being part of the coordination committee.
