Two Missing Children Found Dead in Parked Car in Mumbai

Mumbai: Two missing children were found dead inside a parked car at Anotp Hill in central Mumbai.

After an initial investigation, police suspect that the children died of suffocation. The car was locked from inside and it appears that the children could not unlock it.

The two deceased, Muskan Mohabbat Shaikh (5) and Sajid Mohammed Shaikh (7) were playing outside their homes on Wednesday evening, where the car was parked.

When the children did not return home till night, their parents lodged a missing complaint at the Antop Hill police station. Later, the children were found unconscious inside the car. Although the children were rushed to the hospital, they could not be saved.

Police have registered an accidental death case and are examining footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area as well as all possible angles.
