Opposition INDIA Bloc Meeting to Discuss Future Plans for 2024 Polls

New Delhi: A meeting of the Opposition INDIA Bloc was convened by the Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence on Wednesday to evolve a roadmap for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The meeting of the party chiefs of the INDIA Bloc will be held in the third week of December.

The meeting convened by the Congress president was attended by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Mahua Maji and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary etc.

Leaders of 17 political parties from the Opposition alliance including the Janata Dal (United), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Samajwadi Party (SP) and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) attended the meeting.

Former Congress president MP Rahul Gandhi and the party’s leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury were also present at the meeting.

Notably, the meeting of the INDIA bloc was held in the wake of the BJP’s victory in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
