Pele’s Record Broken, Neymar Becomes Brazil’s Top Goal Scorer

Breaking legendary Pele’s record, Neymar became the top goal scorer for Brazil’s national team on Friday.

He surpassed the number of goals scored by the three-time World Cup winner Pele.

The 31-year-old Neymar’s record-breaking 78th goal came in the 61st minute in a World Cup qualifying match against Bolivia in the Amazon city of Belem. It was Brazil’s fourth goal of the match in a 5-1 win.

Neymar celebrated his record-breaking goal with a punch in the air, in Pele’s famous style.
