Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Chandramukhi 2’ Release Postponed, Check New Date

Mumbai: ‘Chandramukhi 2’ starring Kangana Ranaut and Raghava Lawrence will not be released in theatres on September 15.

Its release has been deferred due to “technical delays.”

The film’s maker, Lyca Productions took to Instagram to announce that the film will now release on September 28.

The production house shared a video with the new release date adding, “Chandramukhi-2 release date has been pushed to September 28 due to technical delays. Vettaiyan & Chandramukhi will be back fiercer than ever.”

The film, directed by P. Vasu, ‘Chandamukhi 2’ is the sequel of ‘Chandramukhi’ 2005 starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika. ‘Chandramukhi’  was an official remake of the Kannada film Apthamitra (2004) which was the adaptation of the Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu (1993).
