‘Emergency’ of Kangana to Clash with Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Chandu Champion’ on June 14

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s political drama, ‘Emergency’ is now set to hit theatres on June 14, 2024, to face Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Chandu Champion’ at the box office.

Taking to her Instagram on January 23, Kangana shared a captivating poster for ‘Emergency,’ featuring her in the role of former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. She called upon the audience to “unlock the story behind India’s darkest hour” on the slated release date.

‘Emergency’ is Kangana’s second directorial venture after ‘Manikarnika.’ She is also the producer of the movie. It boasts a stellar cast that includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, and Milind Soman in pivotal roles.

On June 14, ‘Chandu Champion’ is also poised for theatrical release. Directed and written by Kabir Khan, Chandu Champion is a sports drama that revolves around the life of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medallist in freestyle swimming.

Kartik Aaryan leads the cast, with supporting roles played by Bhuvan Arora, Palak Lalwani, and Adonis Kapsalis. The movie is set for theatrical release on June 14. Having finished schedules in London and Kashmir earlier, the team recently concluded filming in Wai.
