Title of Rajinikanth’s Thalaivar 171 to be Out on Apr 22, New Poster Released

Chennai: The title of Rajinikanth’s much-awaited film Thalaivar 171 will be revealed on April 22. Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj announced this on social along with a new character poster of the actor in the movie.

The poster showcases Rajinikanth in a rugged yet stylish avatar, sporting golden wristwatches fashioned into handcuffs. He is seen against a backdrop resembling mechanical parts.

Thalaivar 171 marks the maiden collaboration between director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Rajinikanth. It is being produced by Sun Pictures.

Rajinikanth was last seen in his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth directed Lal Salaam. Lokesh Kanagaraj delivered the blockbuster Leo in 2023, with Vijay in the lead.
