Superstar Rajinikanth Will Be at Wankhede to Watch IND Vs NZ Semifinal

Chennai: Superstar Rajinikanth left for Mumbai from Chennai airport on Tuesday to watch the ICC Cricket World Cup semifinal between India and New Zealand at the Wankhede Stadium.

“I am going to see the match,” Rajinikanth told reporters at the Chennai airport.

India will take on New Zealand in the first semifinal of the ICC Cricket World Cup at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on Wednesday.

The semi-final match is a highly anticipated event. While the Kiwis will be aiming to reach the final for third successive time in the World Cup after 2015 and 2019, India will be looking to overcome the knockout jinx that has not let them win a major ICC title since 2013.
