PM Modi’s Roadshow in Puri Dham

Puri: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a roadshow on Badadanda of the holy city of Puri on Monday morning. He started his roadshow after seeking the blessings of the Holy Trinity in the Puri Srimandir.

The PM arrived in Puri from Bhubaneswar at around 7.30 am and went to the Sri Jagannath Temple to pray to the deities. After coming out of the temple he took up the roadshow on the grand road in Puri along with the BJP candidate from Puri, Sambit Patra, and the MLA candidates under the Parliamentary seats.

The entire area was cordoned off for the roadshow with the deployment of sniffer dogs and bomb squads for the security of the Prime Minister. The whole area was declared a ‘no-fly zone’.

After the roadshow, the Prime Minister left for Angul to attend a public meeting. He is also expected to address an election rally in Cuttack.
