Punjab Man Dresses Up As Girl To Appear Exam for Girlfriend, Gets Caught by Biometric Device

Chandigarh: To show off his love, a youth tried to impersonate his girlfriend in a multi-purpose health workers exam in Punjab.

Angrez Singh from Punjab’s Fazilka dressed up like his girlfriend Paramjit Kaur to write her paper on January 7, reported The Tribune.

But Angrez Singh was caught as his fingerprint did not match the biometric record of his girlfriend. Angrez had made all possible efforts to pose as his girlfriend. As if going to a fancy dress competition, he wore makeup, red bangles, a bindi, lipstick and a ladies’ suit.

He was nabbed while he was trying to impersonate the girl at a multi-purpose health workers exam conducted by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences at DAV Public School in Kotkapura on January 7.

The university authorities filed a complaint with the police regarding this forgery attempt by the youth. Police investigation revealed that Angrez Singh used fake voter and Aadhaar cards to prove he was Paramjit Kaur. But he could not dodge the biometric device as his fingerprints did not match with that of his girlfriend. Now he faces legal action.
