Rohit Sharma Drives Car at 215 kmph on Mumbai-Pune Highway, Fined Thrice for Overspeeding

Mumbai: Pune traffic police imposed multiple fines on India captain Rohit Sharma for overspeeding on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, reported the Pune Mirror.

Rohit was handed three traffic tickets for exceeding speed limits on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway a day before India’s clash against Bangladesh in the ongoing ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

According to reports from the Pune Mirror, Sharma was travelling to Pune to be part of the team ahead of their ongoing World Cup match at the MCA Stadium.

Rohit was driving at more than 200 kmph, and at times even reached up to 215 kmph. So, his vehicle was reprimanded with three online traffic challans.

The car that Rohit was driving was a Lamborghini Urus. Its number plate features 264, his highest score in one-day cricket.
