Shirdi Sai Statues Removed from Temples in Varanasi by Hindu Outfit

Varanasi: The statues of Shirdi Sai were removed from several temples in Varanasi on Tuesday as part of a campaign taken up by a Hindu outfit named ‘Sanatan Rakshak Dal’.

A Sai Baba statue removed from the Bada Ganesh Temple in Varanasi was placed outside the temple’s premises.

The Mahant of Ayodhya’s Hanumangarhi temple Raju Das urged all the Sanatanis in the country to remove the idol of ‘Chaand Peer’ (Sai Baba) from the temples.

Ajay Sharma, state president of the Sanatan Rakshak Dal informed that statues of Sai Baba have already been removed from 10 temples. In the coming days, statues will also be removed from the Agastyakunda and Bhuteshwar temples, he added.
